Roots Revolt came out of Boulder, Co in the winter of 1996. Almost immediately they were opening for reggae legends and headlining their own sold out shows. They broke up right before they were set to play Reggae on the Rocks in the summer of 1997.

Grant and Patch went on to start Heavyweight Dub Champion in which Wailer, Vill and Hector would make guest appearances. Vill joined forces with Warsaw Poland Brothers and Collective Elements. Wailer B continued as a solo artist. Mike and Kit continue to play music together, and Hector still is and always will be kicking drums.
